People loosing keys / fobs etc. They can be worn on belt loops or attached to the inside of bags etc, so you no longer have to search through everything to find your keys & other items. They have a heavy duty steel cord so unlike the nylon or string keyreels the cable wont rip or snap. It also has a mini carabiner which you can securely attach to a loop so it wont accidentally. We where recently asked to price match this product against a cheaper offer. Although it looked the same in the picture, the actual unit had a very stiff spring mechanism and the cable would often jam and not wind back inside.
